Several CSA plans are available. There will be three sessions each lasting 13 weeks. Each session is available as either $300 full (family) or $175 half (2 person) share. The first session; Early Spring will consist of mostly fresh greens and early season crops available through our passive solar greenhouse. The 13 weeks of Summer session will supply the greatest diversity of fruits and vegetables. The final Fall/early winter session is available using the season extending passive solar greenhouse and root cellar. Finally, those vacationing on or near Leelanau Peninsula may purchase single week shares for $30 per week.

What makes BSF a unique CSA?

Our mission is to provide you with the best tasting produce. We choose varieties that even the most discriminating chef would find delicious and offer them to you with a myriad of recipe choices, simple enough for the novice cook. Our non-produce items such as Leelanau Cheese Co. Raclette, Fromage Blanc, our maple syrup, farm-cooked jams and toppings, and Black Star Farms wines offer exciting opportunities to explore the tastes that embody the spirit that is Leelanau Peninsula

As an Agricultural Destination, we strive to make your weekly visit to the farm enlightening and educational. We will keep you up to speed with newsletters and encourage visits to our farm and gardens where your produce is grown.

You may pick up your share at Black Star Farms' Farmers Market on Tuesdays 9 am to 6 pm or at the Traverse City Farmers Market (Saturdays only) or at Tastes of Black Star Farms in Building 50 before the Traverse City Farmers Market opens.
