Five Springs Farm is a community supported agriculture (CSA) farm serving Northwest lower Michigan since 1994. Hi, our names are Casey Reeves and Mariah Price. We are commited to growing food on soil that is nourished with only organic materials and organisms. Non-gmo, no pesticide, no herbicide, committed to heirloom varieties. We have a small growing CSA and we hope to be at the Frankfort Farmers Market starting in spring 2010. We offer 'on-farm' pickup at our farm 3 miles north of Onekama, or shares can be picked-up at the Frankfort Farmers Market. This year we are starting May 27th and running into October. So far its just us, our puppies, a few cats and some chickens, more to come! To learn more about our farm and purchasing shares of the harvest, go to the "farm brochure" page.
The 'Pickup Pointers' page gives some tips and advice (and times) for picking up your veggies.
Our members receive a weekly newsletter with information about what is happening on the farm, food issues, the occasional essay...anything that we think might be of interest to our members.
We run our farm 'off the power grid.' Click here to learn more about alternative energy at Five Springs Farm.
